Week 8: ESPN 96.1 exclusive Big 5 High School Countdown

This marks the third week in a row that the biggest game of the week is a no-brainer. You can’t top West Ottawa (6-1) at Muskegon (5-2). Both lost to Rockford, but under different circumstances. West Ottawa played without its quarterback and Muskegon played on a baseball field. Not exactly clear cut games. Both teams have several division I prospects most notably Muskegon defensive end Damon Knox and West Ottawa quarterback/linebacker Desmond Morgan. Both are physical specimens who should collide for some bone crunchy hits. Morgan’s line better protect him and that shoulder. Strong defense and field possession win this game.
