The last time these two teams played eachother Wayland was able to escape with a one point victory while South Christian played without Drew Stegehuis(who is battling it out for the lead in our All Star voting) being 100% as he was dealing with Mono. Tonight however, South Christian had Stegehuis “feeling 100% for the first time” and he definitely proved to be a key player.

When South Christian is unable to hit the three they will need to rely on their solid defense to keep the score close. Holland Christian has all the potential in the world largely due to their height advantage which they will continue to have over just about any team in the state. Their inability to finish at the rim and bad decision making is what will hold them back. One bright spot for the Maroons was Alex Nienhuis who led them in scoring with 13 and was the only Maroon able to consistently finish at the rim.
