3rd Time’s a Charm as East Grand Rapids Beats Grand Rapids Christian

At this point in the tournament, half time adjustments can win or lose games. For GRC, they needed to settle down, work on getting some open looks and try to find a way to stop Howell as he had 7 points and 5 rebounds at the half. One way to stop Howell would have been to switch to a 2-3 zone defense as they had in the past two matchups with EGR in which they were 2-0. For EGR, they needed to keep feeding the ball to Howell down low, tighten up on defense and play tight on Jaylin Staten. Halftime adjustments proved to play a huge role in the second half.

Jorddan plans to help young athletes do just that by helping out his former AAU team, the Grand Rapids Storm this spring/summer.
