Why did you choose to go to Davenport?
I liked the new campus feel and the opportunity to play volleyball for four years.
What is your degree?
Sports Management
What is your favorite class?
Sports in Society. I took this class my winter 2011 semester. It’s my favorite because I feel the evolution and study of sports is always changing. Sports in Society isn’t the typical marketing or management course it explains concepts and theory.
What has been your favorite memory of Davenport so far?
It’s a tie between going to Montana this August with my DUVB team and beating Madonna at home for the first time!
Do you have any hidden talents? (Besides sports)
I’d like to think I’m exceptional at ‘Googling’ anything and everything.
What is your favorite food?
Pasta! I love Noodles & Co.
What is your dream job that you wish to do after graduation?
To open my own Yoga studio with a health and wellness center.
What is your favorite song right now?
Stolen away on 55th and 3rd by Dave Matthews Band
Who is your favorite celebrity?
Olivia Munn
Who first inspired you to play volleyball?
My parents gave me the tools and encouragement needed to excel in volleyball from a young age.
What advice would you give to a young athlete?
Do everything you possibly can to benefit and improve your athletic ability. Go to the camps, do the clinics, put in the reps in the weight room; these are the efforts you will never regret.
If you could play for one pro team, who would you play for?
I would play professional tennis! It would be a dream to play in the U.S. Open or Wimbledon.
