Muskegon Falls Short in Season Opener

Muskegon football falls short (23-30) in Thursday night’s game against Macomb Dakota. Penalties and turnovers proved to be costly for the first-year coach Shane Fairfield and young, inexperienced team. Quarterback Kevonte Keyes went 0-for-4 in passing during the first half, but finished with 135 yards through the air with two TDs and one interception. He also had 57 yards rushing.
