Forums are a wonderful thing, and I will be the first to defend their legitimacy, particularly in sports. But if you’re going to use a forum, keep in mind that there are literally no checks/balances for the factuality of any information posted. Take the recent post on Mlive.com for example. The one that says CDBA is shutting down. I just got a text from Darryl Matthews, founder, and that is completely untrue. So, remember to take information posted on forums with a large grain of salt. That’s not what they’re meant for. They’re meant to endlessly debate random topics without legitimate hope of resolution…
